Lucia Lopez / Abstract I

Lucia Lopez was a native Cuban artist. She was the caretaker and mistress of a Cuban art collector that entrusted her to care for his home and paint and replace the art that looted from his estate during the revolution. Ms. Lopez passed away in 2011, and her art was preserved by the estate of the collector, this was a one-time offering of her entire body of work, which dates 1960 - 1990.

Her works are primarily oil in the Cubist manner. She sold her works locally in Cuba and had gallery showings at the Estate.
